Singularity seeks to rebuild roster
Singularity part ways with "TOBIZ" and "Celrate"
Going into the year 2021 many organizations seek to rebuild their roster in order to be as competitive as possible going into the new season. The same can be said for the Danish organization Singularity that has just announced the removal of Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo and Casper "Celrate" Andersen. The two players have been a part of the roster since February of last year and will now have to seek elsewhere in order to further their careers.
Founder and CEO of Team Singularity Atle S. Stehouwer had the following to state, in regards to the roster changes:
"After the recent results in the last quarter of 2020 then we all agreed internally that something had to change in the team going into 2021. It’s never easy to say goodbye to players that have been in the SNG family for an extensive time, and it doesn’t make it easier that I’ve really grown fond of both Casper and Tobias, whom I wish the best of luck going forward."
"TOBIZ" commented on his removal from the roster, stating that after having sold Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen the teams performance went downhill, however wishing the best of luck to Singularity moving forward:
“I want to thank the team around Singularity for always providing us great support and the chances to prove ourselves against better teams. Unfortunately after the first sale of Queenix it all just slowly went downhill and with the exit of MDL, something had to be changed again. Best of luck to Singularity”
With the removal of "TOBIZ" and "Celrate" the Singularity roster currently only consists of three players. We will have to look forward to further announcements in regards to new signings and the organization's plans for a more successful 2021.
