See the new changes to Inferno
Last night, Valve updated the competitive map pool and made significant changes to Inferno.
Out of the blue, Valve issued a huge update to CS2 last night.
One of the changes was the removal of a building and overhang on Inferno. The classic map had come under scrutiny since the introduction of CS2, where the skyboxes were removed.

de_inferno was first introduced in Counter-Strike Version 1.1 on June 27th, 1999.
A new version of de_inferno was introduced in the beta for Counter-Strike Version 1.6 on January 16th, 2003, with further updates during the beta period on January 31st, 2003.
Inferno received an official upgrade in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero on June 2, 2004, named deinfernocz, where it was made into a night map.
Inferno was introduced to Counter-Strike: Source on May 12, 2005.
Inferno received a re-skin in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on October 10, 2016, after being showcased in a Pre-release beta.
Inferno received an overhaul in Counter-Strike 2 on August 31, 2023, after an update to the limited test.
