ruggah joins Astralis one month ahead of time
A new leader to stand behind Nicolai “device” Reedtz and the rest of Astralis has arrived.
Casper “ruggah” Due will start his new Counter-Strike adventure at Astralis one month early.
Earlier this year, it came forward that the OG coach were to join the Danish team on April 1st, however, today the organization revealed that they have pushed the process.
ruggah has a big task in front of him, as he’s set to take over a badly hit roster and project following Astralis’ disappointing result at the European RMR tournament. Here Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and company failed to secure a spot for the upcoming Major in Copenhagen.
Sports Director at Astralis, Kasper Straube also admits that ruggah joins a team, that is “suffering” at the moment.
- I am glad we can bring in "ruggah" a month early. We have a lot of work to do going forward in relation to the management and development of the team, which of course Casper will be an important part of, Straube explains in a statement and continues:
- ruggah comes into a team that is suffering right now, but with players of such quality that I have full faith that we will find the formula together. We are working with a number of measures in the sporting area, and the ambitions are intact, Straube concludes.
