Profiled lineup featuring valde and JACKZ allegedly set to join David Beckham's org
Guild Esports is looking to kick off its Counter-Strike adventure with a roster filled with top-tier experience, according to insider.
After their deal with TSM reportedly fell through during the summer, the lineup consisting of Timofey "interz" Yakushin, Audric "JACKZ" Jug, Cai "CYPHER" Watson, Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså, Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea, and head coach Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam seem to have found a new organization to back them.
According to an insider by the name Vlad 'harumi' Radvilovich, the lineup has been signed by the British organization Guild Esports, which is co-owned by the football icon David Beckham – meaning that the previous deal with TSM looks to be off the table.
The rumour about the alleged transfer arrives just days after Guild Esports revealed that they’re looking to enter the Counter-Strike scene with the launch of a new team, which only sparks more light on a potential deal.
In the press release on the 21st of August, Guild Esports states the following.
- The approaching launch of Counter-Strike 2 has reinvigorated community interest in both the game and its esports ecosystem. Alongside this announcement, Valve has announced new requirements to the competitive Counter-Strike ecosystem which are expected to significantly reduce the entry costs associated with some of the top tier men's tournaments, Guild Esports writes.
