Power Ranking: IEM Rio Major
Are there any favorites going into the Rio Major?
The Rio major is less than two weeks away, and it's fair to say that the favorite role hasn't been found yet as there is no obvious favorite that stands out from the fans and crowd. At the start of 2022, the two giants FaZe and NAVI dominated the whole CSGO scene by winning all the trophies. Even though the two giants have lost games recently and haven't come that far doing the last big tournament ESL Pro League Season 16, where both FaZe and NAVI went out doing the quarter-finals. FaZe and NAVI has also been dominant when talking about the world ranking but on 18. November 2022 Vitality took the world's number 1. spot on the HLTV list.
With the Major coming up soon, the prediction of who will be winning has become much harder to predict. The reason behind that is the fact that there is no real dominant team at the moment, the two big organizations may have been the king and queen at the start of 2022, but after the summer break, everything is more even which means that the Major in Rio is being played without a clear and obvious favorite.
