On Tuesday more than 750 CS:GO teams kicked off the first qualifying stage for the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp. Within the massive pool of registered teams, there was superstar teams like OG, BIG, and Fnatic but also completely unknown lineups, fielding nonprofessional players.

After the first day, only 16 team remains in contention for the four important Europe RMR spots. The big teams managed to dodge the upset, where the newly-benched Fnatic AWPer, Owen “smooya” Butterfield and his mix also was able to make it through.
