NiKo after strong victory: We are still trying out different role-setups
It seems like the star-studded G2 roster hasn’t settled yet after JaCkz’s comeback.
It’s fair to say that G2 hasn’t lived up to the huge expectations and the hype, which was caused after the French-Balkan mixed team acquired the Bosnian superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovac back in October last year. The following period has been outshined by one disappointing result after another, where not only NiKo struggled, but the entire team.
The downhill period meant that the star AWPer Kenny “kennyS” Schrub was removed from the active roster, which started a minor role change within the team. Audric "JaCkz" Jug returned to the team and NiKo grabbed the AWP. However, that didn’t last long, NiKo quickly returned to the rifle.
In yesterday’s post-match interview, NiKo addresses the situation regarding the roles on G2, where he explains that they are still trying out different setups and strategies.
