Matchmaking and CS Rating updated in new CS2 patch
Valve has increased the possible win or loss amounts in Premier Match Mode.
The new rating system in Counter-Strike has been the talk of the town for most regular CS players after the release of CS2.
Last night Valve addressed some of the issues that users have encountered while playing the new game. There have been several examples of mismatches during the matchmaking process, where teams with widely different ratings were matched.
In regards to the ratings in Premier Mode, Valve has changed the relegation and promotion matches to only occur at the different color boundaries, which are set at 5,000 points. The amount of points gained or lost after a match has also been increased to move players faster up and down the rankings.
The update last night was the fourth update during the last week.
