Major changes confirmed! FURIA removes captain and head coach
What now for the Brazilian super team?
FURIA has announced a significant change to their Counter-Strike team removing their long-standing captain Andrei “arT” Piovezan from the active squad.
The current head coach Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira will also leave his position, but will stay in the organization as he transitions the role Head of Esports, the Brazilians informs.
The rumours of changes within FURIA came to the surface yesterday with a report stating that the Brazilian team will play with their academy player Kayke "kye" Bertolucci instead of arT at this week’s GET Rio tournament.
That has now been confirmed by the organization.
However, the 19-year-old rifler will only serve as a temporary replacement for now, FURIA explains. You can read more about the changes and future of FURIA in their official statement here.
