Imperial are ready for the Legends Stage at PGL Major Antwerp

FalleN and company takes the final spot at the Legends Stage.

Imperial has secured a spot in the Legends Stage of the PGL Major Antwerp after defeating forZe 2-0. The series began on Overpass with a comfortable 5-16 victory on their map pick, and then the Brazilians closed out things on Mirage.

The action started on Overpass, the pick of Imperial, and came out fired up. Starting on the offense, FalleN’s troops went on a seven-round winning streak, with forZe struggling on their defense, and it seemed like Imperial were bullying their opponents. A performance that pushed Imperial to a stellar first half that left forZe with a mountain to climb going down 11-4. Imperial won the pistol on the second half to make the result almost a conclusion. forZe managed to grab one round before FalleN and company closed out the first map of the series.

The series continued on Mirage, the pick of forZe, but the Russian squad simply couldn't find their level. forZe started on the defense but once again had a slow start, losing the pistol and falling to a 1-5 deficit. They managed to come alive to grab a handful of rounds, but Imperial kept the advantage throughout the whole half 10-5. In the second half, the Brazilians didn’t let a single round slip as they closed the series and qualified for the Legends Stage.
