“He’s is not coming back”: jL on s1mple returning to NAVI’s roster
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev hopes to be back on the server soon. But where?
Superstar AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has proclaimed that he’s hoping to return to competition after the Copenhagen Major next month, after having been away from the game since October last year.
But where will s1mple go?
His current team Natus Vincere currently field a full five-man lineup – including the promising AWPer Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov.
And if you ask NAVI member Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, the roster won’t change anytime soon, even though they have the CS:GO goat on the bench.
- Of course, you're always scared the CS:GO goat is going to replace you. [laughs] I'm only joking, there is nothing. We're staying as a five-man core, and we're playing like that. Unless something bad happens or we have an injury, I don't think s1mple is coming back to the roster, jL stated to HLTV when asked about the situation.

Major ticket secured
Yesterday NAVI solidified their fine form from 2024 by qualifying for the Copenhagen Major next month. jL and company went 3-1 in the first European RMR tournament, after defeating the Russians from BetBoom in a deciding match Friday evening.
They are therefore joining the likes Virtus.pro, G2, FaZe, and KOI, who also booked a ticket for the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major during the Major qualifier in Bucharest, Romania.
