G2 general manager assures: Superstar is not for sale
Will the European organization be able to keep their prodigy?
Rumours about the creation of a potential super team under the Saudi Arabian banner of Falcons have sent the Counter-Strike world into an exciting roster shuffle.
One of the biggest names on Falcons’ wish list is G2’s superstar AWPer Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who has been heavily linked towards the Danny “zonic” Sørensen-led squad.
However, the Russian prodigy is not for sale at any price, G2 has assured today.
Something, G2’s general manager Petar “peca” Markovic has confirmed in a comment to HLTV.
- We are not considering offers for Ilya [m0NESY]. We are not looking to sell him at any price since we are not in need, that's what we already told the teams that asked us about him, peca stated.
Besides m0NESY, Falcons have also been linked to blockbuster signings as G2's Nikola "NiKo" Kovac, Emil "Magisk" Reif from Vitality, and ENCE's in-game leader Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer.
