zonic: My salary at Falcons is approximately the same
The Danish coach commented on the rumors about his wage.
Danny "zonic" Sørensen is set to begin his tenure at Team Falcons on November 1st. The Danish coach left Team Vitality after having won the BLAST.tv Paris Major and delivered the roster as the number-one ranked team in the world. So why leave? Rumors about an exorbitant wage at the Saudi-backed Team Falcons quickly emerged. But now zonic has commented on the rumors in a written answer to the Danish news outlet Dust2.dk.
- I don't know where people get their information from. I can honestly say that my salary at Falcons is approximately the same as what I've received in the last couple of years. I have chosen Team Falcons based on the visions and ambitions they have presented to us, and the opportunity for me as a coach to challenge myself by taking a team from the lower divisions and hopefully winning many titles.
The five-time Major winning coach also revealed that his contract includes incentive programs.
- As evidence of our shared ambitions, my new contract includes incentive programs, which means that if we fulfill the ambitions and create a strong winning team, I will be rewarded with bonus payments.
Danny "zonic" Sørensen has taken Performance Manager Lars Robl with him to Team Falcons.
