Earlier this week there were rumors going around that the former Danish CS:GO player, Daniel “mertz” Mertz, might return to the Valve shooter after a short stint in Valorant. This has now been confirmed!

The 24-year-old Dane bid farewell to his CS:GO career back in January earlier this year, but is now back and ready to compete for The Prodigies. Mertz started competing professionally in CS:GO back in 2015 and has during his career played for top teams like Heroic, North, Copenhagen Flames, Team Singularity, x6tence, and Nordavind. Now that mertz is back where his heart belongs, he will hope to grind his way back to the top of CS:GO with The Prodigies.
