f0rest hits record-breaking 40.000 kills
The Swedish rifler is without any doubt one of CS:GO's all-time greats
With new players such as "m0NESY" and "b1t" beginning to find their own form and managing incredible performances at the highest level of Counter-Strike, it is easy to forget some of the icons of the Counter-Strike Global Offensive scene. There once was a time when it wasn't Natus Vincere, Gambit, or even Astralis that dominated the professional CS:GO scene but instead, it was the Swedish Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Whilst the iconic NiP roster that defined the first era of CS:GO will all go down as legends of the scene, there is one player in particular that has impressed fans from across the world, and still does to this day. That man is, of course, the Swedish rifler Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg. After having served the Ninjas in Pyjamas for over 7 years he joined the Scandinavian roster of Dignitas and is still clicking heads, despite being 33 years of age.
Whilst there are undoubtedly many names that pop up when thinking about iconic CS:GO players, there is no one that has managed to accumulate as many recorded kills throughout the years as "f0rest". After yesterday's matches with Dignitas, the Swede managed to collect his kill number 40.000 as the first-ever player in CS:GO's history.
It is unsure as to how long the Swedish superstar will remain in the professional Counter-Strike scene, however, one thing is for sure - there is no one like "f0rest".
