Expert to Falcons: Sign this duo and let NiKo be the IGL
In a short interview with Pley.gg, Sudhen "Bleh" Wahengbam gives his take on the future of Falcons as they get ready to shake up their roster.
Regardless of how Falcons are performing at the ongoing Major cycle, roster changes seem quite inevitable for the Saudi-backed squad going into next year.
According to several reports, G2’s superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovac is expected to join Danny “zonic” Sørensen’s troops.
But do Falcons stop there?
We have asked the renowned expert and analyst Sudhen “Bleh” Wahengbam how he thinks they will line up in 2025.
- I mean it’s just speculation but I imagine they'll keep Magisk alongside s1mple and Niko while replacing maden and perhaps still sticking around with Snappi and Zonic, Bleh says to Pley.gg and continues:
- One of the biggest issues with this lineup was the lack of firepower. I imagine they'll try and see if Snappi and Zonic can make it work with bigger guns.
Sign this MOUZ duo and let NiKo call, Bleh says
From what he thinks will happen with the lineup, we then asked Bleh to step into the shoes of Falcons' general manager and suggest what roster changes should be made, according to him.
- They should keep the core of NiKo, s1mple and magisk, and then let NiKo call. I don't think there are any available IGLs right now who could captain s1mple AND NiKo. Then throw in xertioN and Jimpphat or other younger players of a similar calibre - then we're cooking.
Question: What potential challenges do you foresee for Falcons next year?
- Having two veteran and vocal savants of the game like NiKo and s1mple on the same team could cloud the vision that their IGL and/or coach has for the team. Getting on the same page is priority number one once the lineup is finalized. And I fear that could take quite a while, Bleh concluded.

Insider report backs Bleh's pick
Bleh could be onto something regarding the transfer of Jimpphat to Falcons from MOUZ.
Because last week, the French streamer and insider, Sébastien "KRL" Perez, reported that Falcons are "frontrunners" to secure the signature of the Finnish star rifler. Read more about that here.
Falcons are currently competing at the important Europe RMR A, where they are trying to secure a ticket to the Perfect World Major in Shanghai later this month. However, things aren't going their way so far with zonic and his boys facing elimination going into the third day of the Major qualifier.
