ESL Pro League final is the first Grand Final in almost two years without a Dane
The match between NAVI and MOUZ will break a streak of 21 consecutive international LAN tournaments with a Danish player among the Grand Finalists.
Despite the Astralis era being done and dusted for a couple of years now, the Danish domination has still been heavily present on the servers in the big tournaments of CS:GO. That all changes tonight when Natus Vincere face MOUZ in the Grand Final of ESL Pro League Season 18. The streak of Danish players in a grand final ended last night with MOUZ’s win against ENCE and Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer in the semi-finals. The Danish in-game leader has been responsible for keeping the streak alive with four consecutive grand finals in a row lately (We have not included the ESL Challenger Final in Katowice on our list).
You can see the list of the last 21 big ($200,000+) tournaments on LAN here.
