While Cloud9 and NAVI made the cut in Group A with a 3-0 score, Group B saw several upset results during day 2 of the closed RMR qualifiers.

AMKAL defeated Astralis in a 3½ hour thriller match, where the two teams gave each other a run for the money with the Russian roster coming out on top with a 13-10 win on Nuke to win the match 2-1. In the other qualification match in the group Eternal Fire prevailed against MOUZ to also win 2-1 in another nail-biter of a match.

Aurora, EYEBALLERS, SINNERS, and JANO became the first four teams to exit the closed qualifiers from the two groups after three straight defeats. 

Day 3 of the qualifiers continues with some very notable teams in danger of being eliminated. In Group A BIG is under pressure with a 1-2 record, while both Heroic and Preasy can be knocked out of the tournament today with a loss in Group B. A loss for Preasy against FORZE would see Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen miss out on a major for the first time in history after having attended all 19 majors in CS:GO.
