Brazilian Major a reality! IEM Rio confirmed

Brazil has finally got the opportunity to host a CS:GO Major championship with ESL confirming that the next Major will be held in Rio de Janeiro later this year. The big Brazilian city was already meant to host a Major last year - however, that was canceled due to COVID-19.
IEM Rio, which the 18th Major has been called, is set to take place from October 31-November 13 and will feature 24 teams and a prize pool of $1.000.000.
It will only be the playoff stage which will be played in the massive Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro with the rest of the tournament being played behind closed doors. Tickets for the playoff stage are already on sale - You can get your ticket on the following link.
