BLUEJAYS announce new international CS:GO roster
"Kvik" returns to Counter-Strike with new teammates at BLUEJAYS
The German organization BLUEJAYS have announced their new Counter-Strike roster. The most well-known player in the new roster is Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys, who peaked when reaching the Quarter-Finals of the ELEAGUE Major in 2018 with Quantum Bellator Fire. He is now joined by Deyvid "h4rn" Benchev, Frederik "Fessor" Sørensen, Nemanja "sarenii" Šarenac, and Anel "NENO" Ceković under the BLUEJAYS organization.
"h4rn" will be wielding the AWP, whilst "NENO" will be the one calling the shots as the in-game leader. "NENO" explains, the newly put together roster's, roles in a statement regarding the news:
"Things fell in place with me being the IGL and support player, "sarenii" as the entry, "Fessor" will be the second entry, "h4rn" is on the AWP, and "Kvik" will be lurking."
Whilst the trio of "h4rn", "Fessor" and "sarenii" are all young exciting players, ready for their first big challenge, there are more questions in regards to the current level of 25-year-old "Kvik", as he has been inactive since leaving Winstrike in 2019. He acknowledges the fact that this might be his last chance to prove himself and states that he is more than up for the task, however:
"My expectation is to get back to the highest level of CS and this might be one of my last chances to do so, because year by year, people look at you differently. Prove to myself and everyone else that I can still do it - that is my personal goal."
The new roster of BLUEJAYS looks as follows:
Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys (Lurker)
Deyvid "h4rn" Benchev (AWP'er)
Nemanja "sarenii" Šarenac (Entry)
Frederik "Fessor" Sørensen (Second Entry)
Anel "NENO" Ceković (In-game Leader)
Darko "soLo" Mitić (Head Coach)
