Awful record! Falcons and s1mple finish last in Poland
For the third tournament in a row, Falcons have been eliminated in last place as their struggles continues.
Falcons have lost 24 of their last 30 maps, and their new superstar Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has yet to win a series in Counter-Strike 2.
That’s the harsh reality facing the squad right now.
Today, the Saudi-backed team turned another disappointing corner as zonic and company were sent home dead last at the Polish LAN event, ESL Challenger Katowice.
The final blow came this Saturday with Eternal Fire securing a 2-0 victory in the elimination match against Falcons. Before that, s1mple and Falcons had already dropped a Bo1 match to SAW on Friday, marking their third consecutive last-place finish.
Falcons players at ESL Challenger Katowice:
s1mple – 1.06 Rating
Maden – 0.99
dupreeh – 0.90
Magisk – 0.79
Snappi – 0.64
Now, Falcons' next challenge is the crucial RMR event, where they’ll try to secure a spot at the upcoming Shanghai Major. But given their current form, that goal seems like a tough climb.
They are set to go up against ECLOT in Group A when the European RMR kicks off on the 17th of November.
