17-year-old talent flourishes in 2024 after tough period with NAVI
Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi have managed to turn the tide following his exit from the prominent Ukrainian organization last year.
All eyes were on Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi when NAVI called up the Ukrainian youngster to play alongside the legendary Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and the rest of the star-studded lineup back in late 2022. Despite NAVI's confidence in him, it quickly became evident that the young rifler would have a tough time adapting to top-tier Counter-Strike.
Something that eventually led to his departure after only seven months on the team.
However, it seems npl has found his right footing in a new environment on the lower-tier side, B8. After his valuable learning experience with NAVI, the 17-year-old has managed to turn things around and make a name of himself in tier-2/3.
In 2024, he has posted stellar statistics, boasting a 1.20 average rating and a 1.33 impact rating. And what makes it even more impressive is that he’s also the one calling the shots on B8, with him being the in-game leader.
The strong level of Counter-Strike from npl has also brought a title along its way, with B8 winning CCT Season 2 Europe Series 2 – a $50.000 online tournament – in front of the likes of BetBoom, Aurora, KOI, BLEED, and Metizport.
