Vitality go on 13-0 streak to make PGL Cluj-Napoca grand final

TheMongolZ put up a fight on the first map, but could not hold a candle to Vitality on Dust2.

TheMongolZ put up a fight on the first map, but could not hold a candle to Vitality on Dust2.

TheMongolZ looked poised to take their pick of Mirage, as they closed the first half with a comeback to go 6-6. On CT side, they started off 2-0 and were against an eco.

Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut came online with a brutal Deagle pick on the A player. Vitality flooded in and managed to close out the round with a 2k from William ‘mezii’ Merriman.

Then, it was a back and forth affair, with TheMongolZ’s firepower shining throughout, including Anarbileg ‘cobrazera’ Uuganbayar.

Vitality closed out in overtime, but it was anything but comfortable.

On Dust2, it was the opposite sort of game. TheMongolZ started out 3-0, but Vitality and Robin ‘ropz’ Kool made sure they would get no more. The map ended 13-3 for Vitality.

Vitality eyeing second consecutive big trophy

Team Vitality have an unusual matchup in the grand final. Waiting for them is PARIVISION, a team they have never faced before.

PARIVISION made waves earlier this year by stealing the BLAST Bounty Season 1 trophy. They failed at IEM Krakow, which Vitality won, but have bounced back here admirably.

PARIVISION is only 21 years old on average, but have been taking scalps throughout this tournament by beating Falcons and then MOUZ. Can they complete the death run to the trophy?
