Vitality have not lifted a trophy since the summer player break. In the Blast Open London, they survived a scare, defeating M80 2–1 after dropping the opener in horrific fashion.

Vitality have not lifted a trophy since the summer player break. In the Blast Open London, they survived a scare, defeating M80 2–1 after dropping the opener in horrific fashion.

The Match

The match began on Overpass, M80’s pick, where Vitality could not find any rhythm after winning the pistol. M80 took a dominant 9–3 T side and closed cleanly on the defense for a 13–3 map.

Dust2 followed, and here Vitality finally found form. They took their own map pick to force a third, rebounding after M80 claimed the pistol. Vitality answered with a second-round force, the half ended 6–6, and they finished the map 13–7.

In the 3rd and deciding map of Inferno, Vitality came off to a great start after losing the pistol and ended the half leading 8-4. Vitality closed out the 3rd map 13-10 after losing both pistols on Inferno.
