Snappi

Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer built a reputation as an in-game leader who weaponized chaos during his playing career. The 36-year-old Danish tactician consistently took fragmented rosters and molded them into formidable contenders. He forced opponents into uncomfortable decisions by making the sum of his team greater than its individual parts.

On October 1, 2026, Heroic announced that the veteran retired as a player to take over as head coach for their Counter-Strike 2 roster. He replaces Joonas “doto” Forss and returns to the organization where he previously spent over three years as a player. Following his recent run with Ninjas in Pyjamas, he now brings two decades of professional experience to the coaching position.

A career built from the ground up

His competitive journey predates the release of Global Offensive entirely. He competed in Counter-Strike: Source around 2008 before stepping away to earn a university degree in business and finance. Returning to the server full-time in 2015, he pushed through the semi-pro Danish trenches with Copenhagen Wolves and Team X. Heroic initially recognized his tactical acumen in 2016, launching his permanent residency in top-tier competition.

Instead of chasing superteams during his playing career, he mastered the art of elevating raw prospects. His tenure in ENCE proved he could take discarded pieces and forge a championship roster. He built a system where young talents could flourish before being acquired by wealthier organizations. This earned him a reputation as the ultimate developmental captain.

Stepping into the coaching position

Taking the coaching position at Heroic brings a massive wave of expectations. Returning to a young and exciting Heroic roster made the decision to retire and coach a natural progression. His primary objective is to bring the organization back to the absolute top of the competitive circuit.
