The final matches of Round 2 brought clear separation across the Swiss Stage. NIP overpowered Lynn Vision to move into the 1-1 bracket, while Fluxo outpaced fnatic to secure a 2-0 start. NRG then closed the round with a strong 13-10 victory over FaZe, joining the 2-0 pool and handing FaZe their first loss of the Major. With these results, Lynn Vision fall to 0-2, fnatic shift to 1-1 and FaZe now sit at 1-1 as Day 1 ends.
NIP vs Lynn Vision (Train)
NIP came out firing and stormed to a 4-0 lead before Lynn Vision finally got on the board. The teams traded rounds from there, with NIP staying firmly in control at 6-2. Behind strong impact from r1nkle, xKacperSky and snappi, NIP extended the lead to 9-2 and closed the half ahead 10-2. Lynn Vision looked completely flat.
The second half pistol looked perfect for NIP as they found a 5v3 advantage, but Lynn Vision fought back and brought it to a 1v3 before snappi won the clutch to make it 11-2. Lynn Vision’s force buy connected for two rounds, but NIP stabilized and reached match point at 12-2 with a flawless round. A r1nkle 1v2 clutch sealed the map 13-2. NIP move to 1-1, Lynn Vision drop to 0-2.
fnatic vs Fluxo (Train)
In their previous match, fnatic won both pistols but lost both conversions. This time they started cleaner, taking a 3-0 lead. With Jambo heating up and rotations on point, fnatic reached 4-0 before Fluxo answered for 4-1. The teams traded to 5-2, but Fluxo strung together two rounds to break fnatic’s money and cut the gap to 5-3. Fluxo kept the momentum rolling and took the lead at 6-5, eventually winning the half 7-5.
fnatic tied the game 7-7 with a pistol and follow-up win, then secured the first gun round for 8-7. Fluxo responded with a low-buy to tie it 8-8. Two quick rounds put Fluxo ahead 10-8 and fnatic in economic trouble. A rushed B-hit from fnatic collapsed, giving Fluxo their 11th round. Match point came shortly after at 12-8. fnatic pulled one back to make it 12-9, but ran out of time in the final round, losing 13-9. Fluxo move to 2-0, fnatic fall to 1-1.
FaZe vs NRG (Dust2)
Two strong rounds from jcobbb put FaZe up 2-0, while NRG fully ecoed the second round to secure a buy in the third. That decision paid off immediately, as NRG won the first gun round and carried the momentum into a 3-2 lead. FaZe answered with an early double-AWP setup that swung control back in their favor at 4-3. The teams traded rounds for the rest of the half, with FaZe briefly ahead 6-5 before NRG equalized for a 6-6 score at the break.
NRG started the second half with the pistol and the follow-up, moving ahead 8-6. Just like NRG in the first half, FaZe chose not to force, giving them a full buy in round three. It paid off immediately as FaZe claimed two clean rounds to tie the game 8-8. A strong round from NRG sparked a surge that pushed them to an 11-8 lead. FaZe grabbed one back, but xotic’s sharp AWP work guided NRG to match point at 12-9. Moments later, NRG closed out the map 13-10, securing a 2-0 start in the Swiss Stage.
