Early career and breakthrough with Copenhagen Flames
Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard entered the competitive circuit in 2018. He spent his early years refining his mechanics with regional teams including GoldenGitte, Team Sigma, and Team Singularity. These experiences provided the foundation for his development against domestic opponents.
A major step in his career occurred in August 2020 when he signed with Copenhagen Flames. Operating within a roster known for developing young talent, he gained his first significant exposure to high level European competition. He helped the team qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and subsequently reach the quarter finals of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. International success with Heroic

The two players were dubbed “stabbi” after the move to Astralis.
He maintains his role as an aggressive rifler, utilizing his mechanical precision to secure opening advantages for his team. Competing alongside the Astralis roster, he has participated in recent major events including the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 and the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
