The results

  • G2 0-2 Falcons

With both teams making recent roster changes, picking a favorite was tricky. NiKo, whose form had dipped lately, found another gear and tilted the duel decisively. Falcons snatched G2’s pick of Ancient 13-9, then closed on Train 13-7.

  • MOUZ 2-1 Virtus.pro

Virtus.pro came in as clear underdogs but stunned MOUZ on Inferno 13-6 to start. MOUZ answered with a ruthless 13-4 on Mirage, then finished the job 13-10 on Overpass, with Jimpphat leading the line in the key rounds.

  • The MongolZ 2-1 3DMAX

The first quarterfinal had real intrigue after 3DMAX’s win over NAVI. The MongolZ took Ancient 13-9 and looked ready to run away with it, but the French side punched back on Inferno 13-9. Nuke decided it, 13-8 to The MongolZ, who delivered a balanced team effort with only mzinho ending in the negative.

  • TYLOO 0-2 Vitality

After a shaky showing against Liquid, Vitality left no doubt here. They rolled through Inferno 13-4, with Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut posting a 2.69 rating and a 24-7 K/D. TYLOO rallied a bit on Nuke, yet Vitality still won 13-8 and cruised into the semifinals.
