donk on being the best player: “In some periods, I feel nobody can stop me”

In an interview with BLAST, donk spoke about what he hopes to achieve in his career.

In an interview with BLAST, donk spoke about what he hopes to achieve in his career.

“I want to build an era that is better than Vitality’s,” Daniil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets said to James Banks in a pre-match interview today. “Being the best player is about winning championships”

At the end of 2025, donk was widely believed to be the best player in the world. His output playing the role of entry or aggressive rifle is unparalleled in the history of CS.

However, he was not ranked the best player in the world, losing out to rival Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut. ZywOo is the star of Team Vitality, and won more MVP awards than donk, on a Vitality team that is historic in its success.

When Banks asked if donk thought he was still the most skilled player, despite not winning, donk said this:

“In some period, I feel nobody can stop me,” donk said. “Like at the Budapest Major and IEM Cologne, it felt that nobody could stop me in my flow.”
