Brazil presents impressive record for the third Major in a row

For the third Major in a row, Brazil dominates the player pool with the most representatives at the Perfect World Shanghai Major.

Nineteen of the 120 players hail from Brazil, continuing the streak from the BLAST Paris Major and PGL Copenhagen Major, where the South American country also was topping the list.

Although Brazil hasn’t won a Major since 2016, they continue to leave a big mark on the Counter-Strike scene with the Black Panthers from FURIA leading the way.

Looking at the Shanghai Major, Russia follows as the second-most represented nation with 15 players, while France rounds out the top three with 13. Other notable countries include Ukraine and Australia, both seeing an increase in their player count this time around.
