BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 kicked off with a mix of nail-biters and dominance, but not a single bounty changed hands. While some underdogs pushed heavyweights to the brink, all four higher-seeded teams moved on to the round of 16.

B8 vs FUT – OT battle sets the tone
The day opened with a closely contested series between FUT and B8. The first map, Dust2, went the distance and then some, with FUT forcing overtime before B8 closed it out with composure. Mirage followed a similar tempo, but B8’s calm in the clutch saw them edge out the series win 2-0.

ECSTATIC vs Liquid – Train turns into a marathon
Train turned into a marathon in one of the wildest maps of recent memory. ECSTATIC refused to fold and dragged Liquid into five overtimes, with both sides trading clutches and resets. In the end, Liquid held their nerve and took the map 28–26. On Ancient, the North Americans got back to business, grabbing early control on the T-side and never letting go and closing the series out 2-0.

Nemiga vs G2 – MATYS makes it interesting
Nemiga came to play and it was MATYS who nearly turned the tide. After dropping Ancient despite a spirited effort, the Belarusians dragged G2 into a chaotic triple-overtime Mirage. MATYS delivered key frags and multi-kill rounds, but in the end, G2’s overcame the pressure and won the series 2-0.

BetBoom vs FaZe – EliGE turns on the heat
FaZe wrapped up the day in style. rain’s sharp entries on Mirage gave them the early edge, and while BetBoom fought to keep pace, the result felt inevitable. Ancient was even more one-sided, with EliGE posting a monster performance to stamp FaZe’s dominance as they cruised into Round 2.
