BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2: Eight Teams Qualify for Malta Finals

Eight teams booked their spots at the BLAST Bounty Finals in Malta, with two bounties claimed during a weekend of sweeps, close calls, and clutch performances.

This weekend, eight teams secured their spots at the BLAST Bounty Finals in Malta, set for August 14–17. The round of 16 served up a mix of dominant sweeps, tense three-map battles, and high-pressure clutches as rosters fought for their share of the prize pool. Two bounties were claimed along the way, adding extra spice to an already high-stakes weekend. With qualification now locked, the winners turn their focus to Malta, where the bounty hunt continues on LAN.

The results

Spirit 2–1 G2

  • Mirage 13–11 (Spirit)
  • Ancient 8–13 (G2)
  • Dust2 13–7 (Spirit)


In one of the day’s closest battles, Spirit edged out G2 in a three-map clash. sh1ro (1.29) led the way, and Dust2 was all Spirit as they shut the door on G2’s comeback hopes.

Aurora 2–0 Heroic

  • Overpass 13–2 (Aurora)
  • Dust2 13–9 (Aurora)

Aurora dismantled Heroic in a shock sweep. jottAAA (1.46) and Wicadia (1.44) were untouchable as Aurora cruised into Malta without dropping a map.

Virtus.pro 2–1 FaZe

  • Overpass 13–10 (Virtus.pro)
  • Ancient 9–13 (FaZe)
  • Inferno 13–9 (Virtus.pro)

A bruising, back-and-forth series ended with VP holding strong on Inferno. FL1T (1.32) was a rock throughout, outdueling FaZe’s stars when it mattered most.

Astralis 2–1 NAVI

  • Dust2 11–13 (NAVI)
  • Inferno 13–7 (Astralis)
  • Nuke 13–2 (Astralis)

Device (1.47) put on a clinic as Astralis stormed back after losing Dust2, crushing NAVI on Nuke to book claim their bounty and a spot at the Finals.

TheMongolz 2–0 paiN

  • Dust2 13–11 (TheMongolz)
  • Ancient 13–10 (TheMongolz)

TheMongolz kept their cool in two tight maps. Techno (1.31) provided the firepower, and their composure in late rounds sealed the deal.

Liquid 2–1 FURIA

  • Mirage 4–13 (FURIA)
  • Train 13–6 (Liquid)
  • Dust2 13–7 (Liquid)

After a rough Mirage, Liquid roared back on Train and closed on Dust2. Twistzz (1.20) led by example, carrying the North Americans into Malta and claiming the bounty on FURIAs head on the way.

MOUZ 2–0 B8

  • Ancient 13–5 (MOUZ)
  • Train 13–11 (MOUZ)

MOUZ made quick work of B8. Torzsi (1.54) was lights-out, especially on Train, as MOUZ secured another LAN appearance.

Vitality 2–0 Legacy

  • Mirage 16–12 (Vitality)
  • Dust2 13–8 (Vitality)

ZywOo (1.41) showed why he’s still the king, spearheading a comfortable sweep that sends Vitality to Malta in style.
