BetBoom and BIG find wins as Day 1 comes to a close

BIG bounced back from their earlier loss to Liquid with a 13-1 win.

BIG bounced back from their earlier loss to Liquid with a 13-1.

Gaimin Gladiators’ gamble to bring back fer from retirement has been anything but fruitful. They have found 5 rounds across their last two maps, and received schoolings by both BetBoom and then BIG.

BIG won Nuke 13-1 easily, a solid recovery after falling on the same map to Liquid.

blameF was the player of the match, dropping 19 kills over 14 rounds.

Liquid beaten by BetBoom

Liquid did not have better fortunes, as they took much too long to get activated on Dust2. BetBoom came in with a hot start and got up to 9-1 with no reply from Liquid.

EliGE‘s pistol 3k in the second half breathed life into Liquid, but it was a temporary one before their death rattle, as BetBoom eventually found a good hit to win the map 13-9.

Player of the match: zorte

On the side of BetBoom, zorte was the standout, getting 5 opening kills to always leave Liquid at a disadvantage. Despite EliGE and malbsMd performing, it was too late to fight for the map.
