According to Danish media outlet Dust2.dk, rain has signed with 100 Thieves, who are set to make their long-awaited return to professional Counter-Strike.
The American organization has been rumored to be planning a comeback for some time, and this move marks their first official step back into the scene since their previous roster disbanded in 2020.
Benched from FaZe
With Twistzz’s return to FaZe Clan, it came at the cost of rain’s starting spot. The Norwegian veteran had been part of FaZe for more than nine years, serving as one of the team’s longest-standing and most respected players before being benched earlier this month.
The Dust2.dk report does not specify what role rain will take on within 100 Thieves, but in his farewell post he mentioned being open to exploring the in-game leader position, suggesting a potential new chapter in his career.
As for who will join rain on the new roster, no additional names have been confirmed yet, but more details are expected to surface in the coming weeks as 100 Thieves finalize their lineup.
