Team Spirit defeat Natus Vincere cleanly to make playoffs

Spirit, the defending champions, has not lost a map at the Major so far.

Spirit, the defending champions, has not lost a map at the Major so far.

Spirit has gone 3-0 in the group stage of the Austin Major to make the playoffs cleanly.

They are the #3 seed, and are the only of the top three to have not conceded a map.

Here, they took care of an in-form Na`Vi, winning 2-0 in dominant fashion on the opposition’s map pick.

Na`Vi will have two more chances to join Spirit in the top 8, starting with a 2-1 match tomorrow.

Train backfired for Na`Vi

Anubis was a close affair, which Na`Vi was in position to take.

iM was the highest-rated player of the map, and helped win important rounds to tie the game in its late stages.

However, thanks to a top-fragging performance from donk, Spirit clawed back the map to take it 13-11.

Train was a clear-cut map, as Spirit went on a roll on the CT-side to get up to 8-0.

At that point, Na`Vi made an effort to come back with a w0nderful Desert Eagle 3k, but it was too little too late.

We will see donk and sh1ro in the playoffs next week.
