After being away from the CS:GO scene for two and a half years, Portuguese K1CK eSports are making a return. In the past their rosters have almost exclusively consisted of Portuguese players, but not this time. They have instead picked up five Bulgarians, whereof the most prominent names are "v1c7oR" and "SPELLAN".

The Bulgarians from Fiend came very close to making the first upset at DreamHack Masters Spring. After having won Mirage, the two former Windigo players Kamen 'bubble' Kostadinov and Viktor 'v1c7oR' Dyankov had every chance to eliminate Team Spirit on Overpass with their younger teammates on Fiend. At 15-13, they had the chance after having planted the bomb but lost the 3vs4 situation. In overtime, they could see an ignited Abdul 'degster' Gasanov settle the score and force the match to be decided on Nuke.

Here it felt like, that Fiend had the lost momentum, that had carried them into almost winning the match. On the scoreboard, it translated into a 12-3 lead at the break for Spirit, where mir, magixx, and chopper all were making life tough for the Bulgarians.

Spirit made the last push on their CT-side to win the match and advance in the lower brackets, while Fiend is out after a very fine performance.

Fiend is a newesports organization based in the United States. The new organization has announced the signing of the Bulgarian roster, well known under their name Voyvoda.

The roster with the likes of Viktor “v1c7oR” Dyankov, Kamen “bubble” Kostadikov, and Hristiyan “REDSTAR” Pironkov has been playing together since October 2020, when they split with their former organization.

The team and organization have their first appearance together at the DreamHack Masters Spring next week.

VOYVODA

The Bulgarian Viktor “v1c7oR” Dyankov and Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov helped Voyvoda in the DreamHack Masters Spring Europe Qualifiers and the result was fantastic! The team qualified for the main event after victories against OG and Cloud9. The former Windigo superstar Viktor “v1c7oR” Dyankov has talked with HLTV about the new roster, that has big potential.

- To be honest, I think we can become an even better version of the mighty Windigo, he states,

With their performance at DreamHack Masters Spring Europe Qualifiers, the hopes of achieving the same as Windigo became more realistic. The Bulgarian has high hopes for the team and states 

- If we manage to fix some small in-game mistakes and work on everything else, good things will come.

Could they overcome Windigo? We will get the first glimpse at DreamHack Masters Spring at the end of April.

The newly established and org-less team of VOYVODA has made an astounding entry on the CS:GO scene, with the Bulgarians being true upset kings at the just-finished DreamHack Masters Spring Closed Qualifier.

VOYVODA, who’s lead by the former Windigo Viktor "v1c7oR" Dyankov and Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov, has earlier today taken down OG in the semifinals, and now the huge underdogs also have dismantled Cloud9.

By a stellar 2-1 victory, VOYVODA conclude their fairy tale story by coming from the smaller open qualifier and succeeding in upset victories against two superstar teams in OG and Cloud9. Something, which has granted them the last ticket for the main event, which will be played from the 29th April – 9th of May.
