At the Elisa Invitational Spring Contenders tournament, Thomas "Thomas" Utting created havoc with his spray through the smoke that took down four out of five Savage players. In the middle of it, the Englishman also got the last kill to complete his ace. Into the Breach won both maps and got off to a great start to the Swiss Style group play, where eight teams advance to the Elisa Invitational Spring 2022 tournament.

Endpoint announced a two-year extension to the contracts of Max "⁠MiGHTYMAX⁠" Heath, Kia "⁠Surreal⁠" Man, Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting, Joey "⁠CRUC1AL⁠" Steusel today on their Twitter.

The four players and the General Manager Ross "⁠RossR⁠" Rooney will be given a legacy status at the Organization, which will entitle them to get a part of a potential future transfer fee, if Endpoint is to sell one of the players in the future, as it happened earlier this year with Shahar "flameZ" Shushan.

Endpoint is currently ranked 23rd in the world.

Endpoint has announced their newest signing in William "mezii" Merriman as the fifth and final member of their roster. The new signing comes shortly after their previous signing of Thomas "Thomas" Utting. After having been inactive for a short period of time, due to Cloud9 putting their CS:GO division on hold, "mezii" returns to professional Counter-Strike ready and eager to compete.

In talks with HLTV "mezii" states that he is looking forward to joining his new organization Endpoint: 

"I am super happy to be joining Endpoint, I feel they have shown great potential for a while now with some strong performances against top teams in the most recent season of Pro League." He carries on by explaining why he chose Endpoint as his new team: "I had several proposals, but it was a pretty easy decision to accept this offer from Endpoint, as I know this is the perfect place for me to progress even further as a player and achieve great things with a team that has strong foundations already."

Endpoint has turned to an old acquaintance to complete their roster after the departure of flameZ.

Thomas "Thomas" Utting has represented Endpoint twice before from October 2017 - April 2019 and from January 2020 - September 2020. Now the English rifler is permanently back at Endpoint after having been a stand-in lately after the sale of flameZ to OG.

The 23-year-old Englishman was part of the Envy roster, that earlier this year was disbanded.

Thomas's first match as a permanent member of Endpoint will be tomorrow against the Spanish team Caronte.

Despite the fact that the current constellation of Envy has only participated in one tournament since its construction, Envy now decides to take a step back from Counter-Strike.

Whilst it is sad that we will not get to experience more from this interesting and talented line-up, it makes the transfer market ever so interesting going into a new year of Counter-Strike. Especially Noah "Nifty" Francis, who supposedly was set up to be the rosters star player will be interesting to follow, as he seeks to continue his career elsewhere. 

The news of Envy stepping down from the Counter-Strike scene is to many surprising as co-owner and Chief Gaming officer Mike "hastr0" Rufail stated in November 2020 that they had reserved more funds towards their Counter-Strike team and that they were ready for the 2021-season. 

Having a Major win under their belt after winning DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca, it is sad to see Envy as an organization give up on their Counter-Strike team, but hopefully, the talented players from their roster will find a new and more ambitious place to prove their skillsets. At least, it seems as if "Nifty" is ready for a new journey elsewhere.
