PGL revealed the first-round matches at the first CS2 Major in history, which is scheduled to start on Sunday.

Cloud9 vs ECSTATIC and Eternal Fire vs TheMongolz kicks off the event in the Swiss Group Stage format, where bo1 matches will be played until qualification or elimination is on the table.

The last match of the first round will be between the all-Portuguese side from SAW against KOI, where two Portuguese and two Spaniards are ready to fight for the bragging rights in Iberia and perhaps even more importantly a good start to the Major.

On the back of their win at ESL Pro League, all eyes will be on the Danish team going forward.

Heroic's first match will be against the Portuguese team from sAw. A team that has been together for a year and three months now, and has circulated the tier two scene in CS:GO. Despite being big favorites, it is not a match, that the Danes will take lightly.

- I think sAw is a team, that has been played amazing throughout the last months. They have brought Portuguese CS back to a state, that they haven't been in at the entire duration of Counter-Strike Global Offensive, cadiaN explains.
