North American Counter Strike has definitely seen better days with Team Liquid not even ranked as one of the top 10 best teams at this current moments of time, according to the official HLTV ranking. A team that, although not a tier-one CS:GO team, will look to fight a good fight for the North American scene is Limitless. 

The American organization has just announced their new-look roster with three brand new additions to the team. The three new Limitless players are Xavier "Locke" Barth, Gareth "MisteM" Ries, and Ian "motm" Hardy. 

The four Americans are joined by the South African "MisteM", however, they will without any doubt be fighting for the North American scene. The addition of the three new players marks the first time since May that Limitless have been able to sport a complete five-man roster.

ATK has finalized their roster once again with the signing of the former Cloud9 and Extra Salt player Ian “motm” Hardy. The North American AWPer has been offered a trial deal, where he will fill up the gap from Aaron "⁠SloWye⁠" van der Walt, who recently departed the team.

In the announcement, ATK confirms that motm will compete in the upcoming NA ESEA Advanced Season. The move also marks the return of motm, owing to this being his second stint with the team, as he also represented them back in 2019. The NA AWPer has afterwards played at big teams in Cloud9, Extra Salt, and Triumph, however, without any great success. 

After the departures of Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman and Ian “motm” Hardy, Triumph has found two new roster members to fill out the spots.

The new roster will have their first event in the ESEA Premier Season, David “cynic” Polster will take the place as the in-game leader.

After the departure of Shakezullah, Brendon “Bwills” Williams has announced that he is exploring his option towards a possible exit, but he will remain with the roster, at least until the end of the season for the American roster.

The in-game leader Alan “Skakezullah” Hardeman leaves Triumph after 15-month on the roster.

The twenty-three-year-old has had many different teammates as there were numerous occasions where players joined different organizations or even made the switch to VALORANT.

For example, the departure of junior and Grim, who after their transfer has credited Skakezullah for his calling ability, and both said that he played a big part in their development.

It has been difficult for the American in-game leader to get consistent as the team shifted up so often, and he has now chosen to take a step back from competition for now.

Ian “motm” and Brendon “bwills” Williams has both chosen to leave Triumph after the departure of the in-game leader. This leaves Austin “Cooper”Abadir and David “cynic” Polster alone on the roster and leaves the team's future unknown for now.

The former Cloud9 and Extra Salt player Ian "motm" Hardy will no longer represent High Coast, the 21-year old rifler announces on Twitter. The entry-fragger leaves the Swedish organization after only having played for the team since March this year. The deal was only a trial, which explains the early departure from motm. 

Coach at High Coast, Joseph "⁠Muenster⁠" Lima states the following after the exit from motm. 

- Our situation is really complicated right now and I'm scrambling to figure things out before the roster deadline for the next season.

North America have presented countless big CS:GO players over time, with notable individuals as Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Michael "shroud" Grzesiek, and Keith "NAF" Markovic. Someone who hasn’t emerged onto the highest scene of CS:GO, is the 21-year old Ian “motm” Hardy.

motm have shown promising features and moments in his relatively short career, and last month it was publicized that he and the rest of ex-Cloud9 were being acquired by the newly established organization, Extra Salt. And by the looks of this play, it appears that Extra Salt has made a very sharp signing in motm.

Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen - Coach (South Africa)

The newly established CS:GO team Extra Salt, who announced its entry on the CS:GO scene back in mid-December, has allegedly found their fifth and last player. According to HLTVorg, the promising NA team will round off its roster with the acquisition of Justin “FaNg” Coakley.

The 18-year old player has represented numerous smaller teams in the past, until he signed with the bigger American team of Rugratz in October 2020. In his time at Rugratz, the Canadian rifler displayed some strong CS and showed high potential by averaging a 1.09 rating and an 80.3 ADR.
