Igor "lollipop21k" Sołodkov has joined Websterz to form a five-man Belarusian lineup going forward into 2023. 

lollipop21k joins former teammates Anton "boX" Burko and Aleksandr "mds" Rubets, who the 26-year-old rifler played alongside with under the Nemiga banner for two years. 

lollipop21k played for 1WIN before joining his new team Websterz. Doing his time in 1WIN lollipop21k  was their second-lowest rated player during the last six-month.

The 26-year-old rifler announced the ending of his contract with 1WIN on his Twitter.

Igor "⁠lollipop21k⁠" Solodkov played for 1WIN for half of a year, where the team had several good results and got close to qualifying for IEM Rio after beating both G2 and forZe. Lately, the results have not been impressive while the individual level of lollipop21k has dropped below a 1.00 rating during the last three months.

Igor "⁠lollipop21k⁠" Solodkov has previously played for INDE IRAW, Nemiga, and Goodjob.

It is still unknown who will take his place on the 1WIN roster.

Igor "lollipop21k" Sołodkov has been unveiled as a new signing for the Russians from 1WIN. The former Nemiga and FlipSid3 Tactics rifler is set to link up with Egor "flamie" Vasilyev and the 19-year-old super talent Denis "⁠deko⁠" Zhukov, with the team currently occupying a #38 placement on the world ranking.

lollipop21k will replace Stanislav "⁠fostar⁠" Ostashevskiy on the roster, with the 25-year-old Belarusian allegedly having been a target for 1WIN for a while, Team Manager Artem "mouseTT" Karyagin explains.

- Igor has been on our shortlist for a long time, and we hope that together we can achieve success and rise to a new level. The team immediately starts training, because. there are several important tournaments ahead of us before the summer holidays, mouseTT says in statement.

Nemiga ended up losing the match to NaVi, but they delivered a great result on Dust2, where they won against the mighty Natus Vincere.

It was also on Dust2, where lollipop21k delivered this amazing pistol ace, against players such as electronic and s1mple!

The Belarus player waited for the NaVi roster in the doors on A-long on the Dust2, where he got the first four kills, before then delivering the ace in a 1v1 at the end!

The Belarus team did not seem to care, that they were playing in a tier higher than usual. On Mirage they put pressure on G2 and even managed to overcome technical difficulties.

Their Coach, Yuriy “keep3r” Mikulchik joined the server and helped his team win three rounds in a row, before giving his spot back.

Igor ”lollipop21k” Solodkov did everything he could to keep Nemiga in contention for the map with a stellar performance on Mirage. In overtime, G2 secured the map, but it was not without a sweat.

On Dust2 it was a whole other matchup though. kennyS and NiKo denied Nemiga everything and G2 steamrolled their opponents. Frenchman kennyS ended Dust2 with an incredible 24-7 in K/D-ratio.

Not many would have thought going into the tournament that the two final competitors at IEM New York CIS will be Virtus.pro and Nemiga, in front of strong and heavy equipped teams like NAVI, forZe and Spirit. Nonetheless, is VP- Nemiga, the exact matchup for today’s grand final.

Nemiga has had a surprisingly good campaign, taken down a number of strong opponents on their way to the final, by only losing 4 out of 15 maps throughout the entire tournament. The Belarusian team produced a very good playoff run with first a 2-0 win against forZe in the quarter final, followed by an also very confident and strong victory over a well-playing Spirit team in the semi final.

They will play a very strong Virtus.pro side who hasn’t lost a game going into the final. The VP team has cruised through every obstacle at their way, dropping only two maps in the process. Yesterday, they defeated the #5 in the world and the strong favourites NAVI consisting of stars like s1mple, electronic and perfecto.
