The 27-year-old German player is no longer tied to Sprout and is therefore considering his options as he wants to stay in CS:GO. denis was removed from the starting line-up in Sprout at the end of July, following a disappointing tournament season that almost saw the German squad relegated from ESEA Premier. The German player had been a part of Sprout’s roster for almost four years across two spells, helping the team to become a regular Top 30 squad and to win several domestic titles.

“I’m still looking to stay in CS:GO and I’m motivated to reach my goals. I’ve always been kind of a supportive caller in most of my teams, so I am also open to being an in-game leader,”

Sprout has decided to go for an international roster, with the German organization bringing in Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg from Lyngby Vikings. The Danish rifler fills the void from Denis “denis” Howell, who was benched in late July this year, making raalz the only non-German player on the team.

raalz brings in a lot of experience to the profiled Germans, with him having played competitive CS:GO since the very beginning of the game. The experienced Dane also adds some strong firepower to the team, which his strong 1.10 Rating in the last 3 months, is clear evidence of.

- I am super happy about this opportunity given to me and I won't let anyone down, that's for sure. I will work my ass off every day, and still, keep up the hunger for even more. Now I am just ready to get the season started with the boys and put up some good results

My goal is for sure to grind to the top with Sprout and show people what we can do together as a team, said in a statement to HLTV.org.

The Germans from Sprout has decided to bench Denis “denis” Howell on their active roster, the German organization announced on Thursday. The decision comes after a disappointing half-year season by the 26-year-rifler, where he has struggled to find a sufficient level.

In a comment to HLTV.org, denis touch on the benching.

After a rather successful ending of the latter half of 2020 together with snatchie and dycha, everything went downhill and we had a horrible season in 2021 with our German lineup with some glimmers of hope, but we couldn’t quite make it.

Thus our coach, enkay J, decided that they want to try something new and want a fresh start after the summer break, denis told on Thursday.

denis have previously represented strong teams as BIG and mousesports in his career, playing alongside the likes of Nikola "NiKo" Kovac, Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, and Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz. The German player says on Twitter that his future is uncertain.

Sprout and Lyngby Vikings are ready for the Group D Winner Match at European Development Championship. The two teams were the victors of their opening round matchups against ex-ETHEREAL and forZe, this afternoon. 

Both Sprout and Lyngby Vikings had to fight hard and dig deep for their victories, as both matches were extremely close.

With only three players in the active squad, it seems that the German organization possibly have found their last two as they prepare for bootcamp. 

“In 2 days our 2 weeks long bootcamp starts, looking forward to it after a longer winter break. Last year was the first year after a long time where we played more big tournaments again, I hope we can improve even more.” denis wrote on Twitter.

Michal “snatchie” Rudzki parted ways with Sprout alongside Pawel “dycha” Dycha as the team reportedly were interested in switching to a full-German lineup. Their plans for the future seem to be announced soon, with Marko “kressy” Dordevic and Fritz “slaxz-“ Dietrich reportedly high on their list of targest. Both players announced earlier last month that they won't renew their contract with ALTERNATE aTTaX for 2021. 

The 26-year old Denis "Denis" Howell recently gave insights into his thoughts about the past year in competitive CS:GO.

- Honestly, I am really looking forward to the winter break. I can't recall a time in my career, where I've been this mentally exhausted and emotionally drained, the German explained.

Sprout will play another match in just two days when they face G2 at DreamHack Masters Winther.

It is not to be for the Sprout team, that earlier today lost the Final at MDL Season 35.

In a best of five match, the German-Polish roster came short in the match against Endpoint, who also took the ticket for next season's ESL Pro League. A bitter taste for the Sprout-players, who won the MDL event last season, where there was no qualifying ticket on the line.
