The Youngest and Most Prospective CS:GO Players You Have to Know in 2024

The CS:GO franchise has been one of the top electronics sports for many years.

With many yearly tournaments, many visit GGBET for esports betting on this game. The success of each team often depends on the quality of the team members.

Undoubtedly, some proven players have been the force behind their teams’ success repeatedly. But we can’t sideline the promising rising stars who have been fantastic in recent times. With that in mind, we discussed some of the youngest Counter-Strike:GO prospects to watch out for in 2024.

Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets (Team Spirit)

Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets was born on January 25, 2007, and has become one of the Counter-Strike prospects for this year. The Russian came into the limelight in October 2023 when he was honoured as the best player in Betboom Dacha. Donk winning the MVP made him the youngest player to do so in HLTV history.

All eyes were on him when many wanted to sign him late last year. He currently plays the Rifler (entry fragger) role with Team Spirit. Winning the IEM Katowice 2024's MVP is proof of his outstanding talent. His 1.7 rating in the tournament tied with that of the Bosnian player, Niko.

With more tournaments still coming up this year, the CS community anticipates the young sensation to deliver. He has already kicked off the year in style with the MVP at Katowice. The young pro has played about 400 maps, killing over 8400 players, which earns him a 1.25 average rating.

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov (G2 Esports)

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov is another young sensation; the Counter-Strike community anticipates his gaming skills in 2024. m0NESY was born on May 1, 2005, and he started playing at the age of 5 on his brother’s PC. The German, who plays as AWPer, caught the community’s attention when he joined G2 Esports in 2022.

Meanwhile, He joined G2 from NAVI Junior in a deal costing $600,000 at just 16 years of age. The Flash has gone ahead to win the MVP at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022. Becoming the second-youngest winner in HLTV history.

He won the BLAST with G2 in his debut year and went ahead with the IEM Cologne and IEM Katowice tourneys the following year. Despite being 18, he has represented G2 in many competitions. With over 10,500 kills in 520+ maps played, m0NESY had a 1.22 average rating, and you should watch out for him this year.

Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov (Natus Vincere)

Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov is another young gun we expect to thrill the CS community in 2024. Born on December 14, 2004, he started his Counter-Strike career in 2020 and has played for many teams. The Ukrainian, who plays as AWPer, penned a contract with Natus Vincere in 2023.

In addition, w0nderful claimed the switch to Natus Vincere from Sprout was a dream come true. He is known to go toe to toe with experienced players with his gaming brilliance. This made many believe it would make him amazing to watch in the coming years.

He won the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 before joining his current team. w0nderful has already started the year on a high note, winning the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. Replacing Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev, Ihor is currently rated 1.21 with 9550 kills in 480 maps played.

Ana “ANa” Dumbravă (Team Pigeons)

Ana “ANa” Dumbravă is undoubtedly one of the female sensations out there. She was born on June 20, 1999. The Romanian has been playing since 2015, having a long career. Ana’s exceptional form started in 2022 when she won ESL Impact League Season 1 with Nigma Galaxy.

Further, ANa went ahead to help the team to 6 more competition victories between 2022 and 2023. The AWPer started 2024 with Nigma Galaxy before switching to Team Pigeons on Valentine’s Day. As she continues her gaming elsewhere, we believe she will maintain great form.

Currently, ANa has competed in more than 200 maps. With over 3900 kills, she earned a rating of 1.22, which is quite impressive. The Counter-Strike community anticipates her fine form will continue this year.

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut (Team Vitality)

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was born on November 9, 2000, and he is one of the most decorated Counter-Strike players of all time. “The Chosen One” is not a prospect per se; he only made our list because he finishes 2023 on a high note. With 18 MVP awards, he is the third-highest winner of this at 23.

His incredible performance made him one player to be on the lookout for in 2024. ZywOo started playing in 2014 and has played AWPer and Rifler roles for many teams before joining Team Vitality in 2018 from “Against All Authority.” The Frenchman has won a sensational ten tournaments since making the switch.

Obviously, he is one of the gamers to look out for in 2024. ZywOo has made over 27,000 kills in more than 1200 maps, earning him a 1.32 average rating.
