Young rifler benched by OG
Maciej "F1KU" Miklas and company are set to play with stand-ins for the coming tournaments.
OG has announced the benching of 20-year-old rifler Bram "Nexius" Campana from their active lineup, effective this Tuesday. Nexius, who joined the European squad in December 2023, will no longer be part of the starting roster after nearly a year of modest results.
During his tenure with OG, the team's most notable achievement was securing a second-place finish at the $345,000 Skyesports Masters.
In a statement, OG addressed the roster shuffle, explaining: "In the coming weeks and tournaments, we'll line up with stand-ins whilst we focus on finding the best possible fit for our active roster."
Nexius himself also commented on the situation in a post on X:
-Things just didn't work out over the last year. I enjoyed the moments we had as a team, but everything has to come to an end. Regardless, I am really eager to prove myself and perform at a high level somewhere else.
As of now, OG has not announced a permanent replacement, leaving the future of the lineup uncertain. However, the team plans to utilize stand-ins for upcoming competitions while evaluating potential candidates for their roster.
