Vitality stay alive as they eliminate Twistzz and company
The Frenchmen are through to the quarterfinal after taking down Liquid at BLAST Premier World Final.
The second elimination at the BLAST Premier World Final saw Liquid sent home after a hard-fought 2-1 defeat by Vitality on Thursday.
The victory for Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and his team was sealed with a dominant comeback on Dust2 (13-3) and a close finish on Nuke (13-11), showcasing a much stronger performance than their previous series against Spirit.
Unsurprisingly, ZywOo emerged as the standout player, putting constant pressure on Liquid across all three maps. His impact was felt especially on Nuke, where he helped secure Vitality's advancement in the $1 million LAN event in Singapore.
With this win, Vitality stay in the competition and are now ready for the quarterfinal, while Liquid heads home empty-handed from Singapore after two consecutive losses.
