Vitality off to great start at IEM Rio
The Brazilian nightmare continued with a loss for Imperial.
Imperial became the fourth South American team to lose in front of the crowd at the Riocentro in Rio, Brazil. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and his men faced the highest-seeded team in the Challenger Stage, where Team Vitality was on the other side of the server on Inferno.
A crushing CT side from Vitality never gave Imperial any room to maneuver in a very one-sided first half. At 8-0 Imperial won their first round, but it was nowhere near enough. Vitality took a 13-2 lead with them to the break.
In the second half Imperial found some momentum to elevate the crowd but in reality the victory for Vitality for never in any danger.
