Vitality coach confirms rumours: Spinx asked to explore his options after BLAST Fall Groups
Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam addresses rumors about internal issues and Spinx's situation within Vitality.
Last week, rumors began swirling about potential trouble within the Vitality squad. French streamer Sébastien "KRL" Perez initially reported that Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was unhappy with William "mezii" Merriman’s performance and was considering leaving Vitality.
These rumors have now been addressed and partially confirmed by Vitality’s head coach, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, in a recent 1pv.cs podcast.
- About Lotan, yes Spinx asked to explore his options after the BLAST. But he didn't push... I have no problem talking about it since the players were aware of what happened. Of course, if you're asking me whether, because he's exploring his options, I've had to think of other names, the answer is yes. And it's not Hunter here, but I won't tell you who, XTQZZZ stated.
Nothing to do with mezii
Despite confirming some of the rumours, XTQZZZ stressed that it had nothing to do with mezii.
- He has his reasons, which are not the ones that were announced, in no way was it related to mezii. We know what he complained about and it had nothing to do with that.
- So, I don't know where this info came from, I don't know who was trying to be a little bitch to make themselves look good or whatever... all I can say is that it's not related to mezii, there are reasons, it lasted 3/4 days and we closed the issue.
- I'll tell you one thing, exploring your options happens all the time in CS. I'm not going to throw around names of players, I don't want to mess with teams, but it happens a lot. Is that normal? to each his own. What I mean is that at no time was there any desire to change.
