Valve release update for Anubis
Anubis sees its first update since publishment.
Following the new patch for CSGO which came out yesterday on Jan. 25, the game developers have changed a few things on the new map Anubis. The most notable one is B Long and Canal, where the ruins themselves are less ruined which should make it easier for both sides to fight in that position. The Canal saw a change to its boat, which now is looking different as the shape of the boat has been changed. The back of the Canal has also been lowered which makes it easier for people to spot each other in the open field.
With a change like this, the map becomes much easier to navigate even though the changes are barely visible. When a new map joins CS:GO, we always see an update in the following months as the game developers are seeking to make the map as competitive as possible. Anubis was added to the active map pool back on Nov. 18, 2022, and has since then featured in both BLAST Premier World Final and BLAST Spring Groups.
