Triple Boost: Cloud9 adds HeavyGod, ICY, and interz to lineup
The North American organization has unveiled its new roster ahead of the year's second season.
After a lengthy rebuilding period, Cloud9 once again boasts a full five-man lineup with the acquisition of Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko, Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, and Timofey "interz" Yakushin.
The young trio will fill the void left by Denis “electronic” Sharipov, Abay "HObbit" Khassenov, and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, who all exited the active lineup in April this year.
Headlining the transfer is the powerful rifler HeavyGod, joining the North American organization after a short but impressive tenure at OG. Despite being an Israeli citizen, HeavyGod speaks Russian, allowing Cloud9 to continue communicating in their preferred language.
Additionally, interz’s return marks his second stint with Cloud9, reuniting him with long-standing teammate Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov. The new Cloud9 roster is set to make its debut at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups later this month.
