Tournament organizer set to partner with multiple national leagues
This initiative aims to create more pathways for regional talents across the world.
The Champion of Champions Tour is a new competition with the mission to build into the ecosystem of pro Counter-Strike across multiple tiers, providing an opportunity for regional talents to prove themselves. Jointly organized by leading esports firms and commissioned by GRID, CCT spans across sevens regions worldwide with a total prize pool of $3,400,000.
Competitors will fight their way through their respective region’s National League, where the winners will secure seeding into the core CCT. Each National League's winners will also be included in the CCT point system, which gives them a chance to accumulate points across the Online Series and qualify for a spot at a Studio Final.
“We created the Champion of Champions Tour with the ambition to offer opportunities to teams, brands, tournament organizers and most importantly the players who work tirelessly to make it in the game they love so much. Today, we’re happy to announce that CCT National Leagues is opening more pathways for players to compete in our global circuit and are acknowledging the impressive effort of tournament organizers around the world. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with this strong group of organizers and to bring the CCT to even more communities.” – Head of Tournament, Fabian Logemann, on the CCT National Leagues.
