With the open qualifiers finished, we can now begin to look forward to the Closed Qualifiers for IEM Sydney 2023. Eight teams have made it through the open qualifiers and will lock horns as they fight for a chance to play on one of the biggest stages in professional Counter-Strike. 

Most recently, 1WIN and knasigT have occupied two spots at the closed qualifiers. Building upon a couple of great results, the former NaVi IGL "Boombl4" and 1WIN are looking like a potential threat at the closed qualifiers. Still, however, it is the Scandinavian Ninjas in Pyjamas who are the favorites going into the qualifiers. 

Alongside the Ninjas in Pyjamas, the exciting roster of Apeks are looking to earn their own spot in the upcoming IEM Sydney 2023 event. Advancing from the closed qualifiers will not only give the teams a chance to fight for the $250.000 prize pool but also an opportunity to face some of the biggest names in the entire CS:GO scene. Already invited to the event are the likes of Vitality, G2, and FaZe.
